What we collect

When you contact us

Our enquiry, catalogue and 3D model forms record the details you type in: name and surname, company name, role, email address, phone number with country code, city and country, the product or product code you asked about, your message, and whether you asked to receive our newsletter. We also store the date and time you accepted this policy, the IP address the request came from, and the page and campaign that brought you to the form.

When you subscribe to the newsletter

We record your email address, first name, last name and country dialling code.

When you simply browse

Our servers and our analytics tools record technical information: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the site or advertisement that referred you, and approximate location at country level. Cookies and similar technologies used for this are described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and send the catalogues or 3D files you asked for. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our contract with you.
  • To send our newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message.
  • To keep the website secure and working. This covers your session, the spam and security checks on our forms, and our server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
  • To measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner, where consent is required. You can change or withdraw it at any time from the Privacy settings link in the footer.
  • To meet our legal obligations. Italian tax, accounting and consumer law requires us to keep certain commercial records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make this website and our sales process work, each of them acting on our instructions:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Falkenstein, Germany) hosts the website and its database.
  • Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, and filters malicious traffic.
  • Google provides our business email, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement.
  • Microsoft provides Microsoft Advertising measurement.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue, France) sends our newsletter and stores its subscriber list.

Your enquiry is also stored in our own customer database and emailed to our sales mailbox, so that our staff can answer you.

We may disclose data where we are legally required to do so, for example to a public authority or a court.

Transfers outside Europe

The website and its database are hosted in Germany. Some of the providers listed above are based in the United States and may process data there. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we are dealing with your request and our commercial relationship continues, and afterwards for the period Italian tax and accounting law requires us to retain commercial records. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the retention period set in the relevant Google and Microsoft products. Server security logs are kept for a short technical period and then deleted.

  • confirm whether we hold data about you, and give you a copy of it;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it;
  • send the data you gave us to another company in a portable format;
  • withdraw a consent you gave us, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.

Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or to the supervisory authority of the country you live in.
