Your choice

Cookies that are not strictly necessary run only after you allow them. You can change your mind whenever you like: open Privacy settings at the bottom of any page, adjust the categories, and save. Your choice is stored in a cookie called mf_consent for 180 days.

Where the law does not require prior consent, non-essential cookies start switched on, and the same Privacy settings link lets you switch them off.

Strictly necessary

These make the website work. They cannot be switched off, and they are not used for advertising or measurement.

  • modenese_furniture_session (this site, 2 hours). Keeps your browsing session so the site remembers your language and your position in a form.
  • XSRF-TOKEN (this site, 2 hours). Security token that stops someone else submitting our forms on your behalf.
  • mf_consent (this site, 180 days). Remembers the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again on every page.

Analytics

These tell us which pages people use and where they run into trouble. They run only with your consent where consent is required.

  • _ga and _ga_<stream> (this site, up to 13 months). Google Analytics 4. Distinguish one visitor from another and hold the state of a visit. Google acts as our processor.
  • modenese_crm_visitor_v1, modenese_crm_first_touch_v1, modenese_crm_last_touch_v1, modenese_crm_session_v1 (browser storage on this site). Our own visit measurement. They record a random visitor identifier and the page and campaign that first and last brought you here, so that an enquiry can be matched to the source it came from. The session entry is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics. Counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across websites.

Advertising

These let us measure which advertisements bring visitors, and show our products to people who have already visited. They run only with your consent where consent is required.

  • _gcl_au (this site, 90 days) and _gcl_ls (browser storage). Google Ads conversion linker. Connects an advertisement click to an enquiry sent later on this site.
  • Google advertising services (doubleclick.net, google.com). Used for conversion measurement and remarketing lists.
  • Microsoft Advertising (bat.bing.com). Loads our conversion measurement script for Bing advertising, which can set the identifiers _uetsid and _uetvid to link an advertisement click to a visit.

If you refuse

Nothing on the website stops working. Analytics and advertising scripts either do not run at all, or run in a mode where they send an anonymous, cookieless signal and cannot identify your browser. Click identifiers are kept in the page address instead of a cookie, so a measurement stays possible without storing anything on your device.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge each provide this under Privacy or Settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop our forms from working.
